Château Talbot Saint-Julien Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2010

$125

Abundant amounts of sweet, up-front fruit give this wine a precocious appeal compared to many of its brethren. It exhibits a dense plum/ruby/purple hue along with sweet boysenberry, black currant, cherry, smoke and licorice aromas and flavors. This deep, medium to full-bodied, classic Talbot should be approachable when released, and age effortlessly for 15 or more years. Robert Parker

An attractive wine that engulfs the palate with a raspberry and tobacco. It sustains nicely on the finish.

Funky nose. Super silky texture. Lush dried red and blue fruit. Cocoa and coffee. Great acid and tannin integration.

Beautiful garnet color. Elegant hints of dark fruit, leather and cedar on the nose. Nicely integrated tastes of currants, black plums and a hint of licorice. The acidity is spot on creating a mouthwatering wine. The tannins are still a little evident and the finish shows signs of graphite and a little bit of bell pepper.

ripe black currant taste, spicy oak and plenty of structure with sweetness and acidity. Balanced fruitiness with old fashioned wine.

What could be better than this wine, on a rooftop in Amsterdam with the best friends and a bright sunshine. Nose of black currant, a wooden touch and a sanguine, salty touch too. Superb acidity and nice layers of fruits. Vivid tannins that shows a bright future for this wine. Quality time.
