Very beautiful aromas of crushed berry, flowers, currant and Indian spices follow through to a full body, with ultrafine tannins and a long, long finish. Extremely polished and beautiful, with a seamless texture... Wine Spectator

One of my favourite Margaux producers @ £98 just entering its drinking window but will be 94-97 in 5-10yrs if you can wait

A little bit between worlds at this point. Still great primary fruit, boysenberry, black currant, but also with secondary cedar and tobacco. Surprisingly fresh. I’d like to see this again in 2033.

Drinking this now in our backyard Enjoying a beautiful early even amongst this stay at home state order. Life still presents many moments to embrace. Awesome wine red fruit floral, eucalyptus, cedar, smoke and graphite in the nose. Taste plum graphite, red berry on the mid-pallet and a creamy subtle sweet finish. Tannins still present, but need to work themselves out. A 9.2 for sure!! Enjoyed earlier with a charcuterie plate and pretzels dipped in Dijon Mustard, yum, yum.

From the great 2005 vintage and #2 on Winespectator top 100 wines of 2008. 2 hour decant(lots of chunky sediment). A irresistible dark ruby red color. On the nose: bursting from the glass are those floral Margaux notes, sweet red fruit, cedar, some eucalyptus, crushed rocks, hints of cinnamon. Taste: dark plum, graphite, smoke, with red berries hitting mid palate. A creamy berry tobacco medium plus finish. Good acidity, still some tannins that need to work themselves out. Early in its drinking window, showing lots of promise for the future....easy to enjoy now if you like more fruit and less secondary flavors. Thanks for the push @Paul Jakubowski

30+ minute decant. One of the best noses ever!! Super complex with floral tones, graphite, and cherry fruit. Wine is refined and fruit forward. More high end Napa than French Bordeaux. Medium finish. Love it’s uniqueness.

Too young, needs another decade to open up. Amazing nose but it is too tannic
