Cranberry, strawberry, a touch of fig, then more secondary aromas coming through: saddle leather and Provencal herbs. The palate is medium-bodied, quite opulent and generous, silky smooth tannins but there is also real backbone to this wine...Red-berried fruits, a touch of pepper, orange zest, tightly coiled and pointed towards the finish. WNH NY, 2021. This was pure elegance in a gloss. A model of poise and restraint. Superb oak treatment, leads into coffee and regal tannins on the mid-palate. Lots of mature cherries interplay with medium acidity. Probably has another 20 years ahead of it.

A silky, smooth wine... Barnyard on the nose, mushrooms, a hint of smoke, olives, plum, and finishing sweet. Nice acidity and overall good structure. Drinking nice now but can be shelved for at least 10 more.

Coffee ground and dark fruits on the nose. Blackberries, black plum, dark cherries, lot's of expresso roast, dry leather, tobacco with ash, underbrush, dry soil, dry crushed rocks, grilled meats, lean body, high acid and the finish has dry dusty tannins but the fruits finish juicy.
