There are two white special cuvees, both of which are some of the most impressive whites I’ve tasted from the appellation. The 2015 Châteauneuf du Pape Clos Du Belvédère Blanc is 100% Grenache Blanc, all from the rolled stone pebbles of the Clos du Belvedere parcel located by the estate, that was vinified and aged in barrel. Straight up knockout stuff, with ripe peach, citrus, crushed rocks, tangerine and exotic flowers, it hits the palate with medium to full-bodied richness, beautiful mid-palate depth and an almost structured, tannic feel. I’d buy as many as I could afford and drink bottles over the coming decade or more. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
