... It has an iridescent amber hue. The nose is soft and plush with scents of golden syrup, fresh fig and marmalade. There is real power here, but there is something also mellow and alluring. The palate is very sensual on the entry...There is great depth to the ‘86 with luscious marmalade and quince notes that inform the rounded, botrytis-rich finish. Marvellous.
