Firm and structured, with loamy earth, mocha and espresso, this is ripe and lively, with currant, blueberry and wild berry notes that are pleasingly subtle and detailed. Even more expansive and syrupy on the finish. Best from 2012 through 2022. 502 cases made. Wine Spectator

Ok I liked this more than the Harlan but not as well as the 1994 Eagle. Picky me! Really nice balance definitely will last

A little splurge tonight in honor of my first date with Lisa 35 years ago. A beautiful but subtle hint of blueberries, dew berries, oak, and minerals on the nose. Full bodied but elegant tastes of blueberries, cassis, earthiness delivered on a smoky platter. The tannins are bold in a really good way and the finish is long and fantastic. It lingers for almost a minute after I swallow. Wish I could drink this every day.
