This Port wine is inky indigo in the glass. Its nose conveys dark, ripe fruit with an overlay of leather and tobacco. The palate is rich and dark with a firm tannic structure and a pleasantly long finish.

Nice with cheese. Cherry, mild spice. Tastes like a sweet, concentrated Cotes du rhone - has that cedar/sage brush flavour.

Chilled out wine, not a lot going on except ripe fruit but goes down easy.

Color of dark ruby and purple. Nose of dried sweet raisins, a bit spice, a bit green pepper, and some spicy alcohol. Taste is similar with some more chocolate, dried strawberries, tinkling zest, and a bit bittersweet. Aftertaste of some more chocolate and warmth. Too sweet oriented for me, but not off balanced.
