To me these are as far as you can push it towards big california while still retaining great balance. Might be a little more of a cocktail wine, but it’s incredibly good.

40% new french oak on these and I would say they got the formula right. Toes the line of being oaky while retaining balance. Just enough oak and malo to add some creaminess without overpowering the fruit.

Can’t really fault it because it’s a little too sweet to my liking. But there wasn’t much else on their wine list and our server recommended this.

Love this chard! Perfect blend of butter and citrus. Perfect with our seafood boil.

After a brief pause, Chardonnay week continues. This Walt is heavy oak, heavy everything. Beautiful evening.

As you can see, it was a night of many bottles.

Super deep almost oily golden color. Not much of a nose but starts with plenty of butter and vanilla. Mid palate of citrus and lemon and a long acidic finish. This is the way I like my Chard. If I want crispy whites, I’ll drink Pinot Grigio.
