Highlight of the night and first to start tonight! Smooth, complex nose, but of honey, caramel. Medium toasted nutty character with a dash of smoke. Lovely!

Can't beat it for the price as with eagle rare, might give the weller a slight edge. Balanced and smooth.

Not bad for the price, but wildly overrated. The cherry-cinnamon-cream thing is nice, but there's not a lot going on here beyond that. This dumb bourbon collector scum thing cannot die fast enough.

I was lucky enough to get this at almost MSRP, not the second-hand craziness. I tasted it next to the Weller Special Reserve and Blanton Black. It's a solid bourbon, but I prefer the Black Blanton. The Weller Special Reserve is lighter, and the 12 is darker.It comes down to personal preference at the end of the day.
