Probably the most toasty of the Veuve line I tasted, with some dried fruits, nuts, minerals.

Lovely and Fresh, this vintage champagne from 2004, has a lovely light gold color, small energetic bubbles and a smooth nose with brioche, lime, grapefruit and mild yeast, medium body, elegant with crisp acidity and a fine finish. My score 89, drink to 2020.

66% PN aged 10 years on lees. Fruit driven with nice, piercing acid. A touch of yeast on the finish.
