Lovin' this wine for tonight's #SonomaChat. Inky in color, Spicy, peppery, complex black fruit with a beautiful balance. American oak is well integrated; supports the fruit without overpowering it. Cedar-y, firm-but-not-grippy tannins on the finish. Only 13.5% ABV; just right.

Absolute bombshell of a nose, like dipping your nose into a freshly baked blackberry tart, dripping with sweetness, succulent fruit, and a golden crust. In the mouth it's much less decadent, structured big tannins and a bit of pepper. A bit bummed the nose didn't carry over but it's good wine.
