Definetly a little funk with ash and some faded dark fruit. Tannins are still vibrant and gives a nice texture. I know Scavino is modern so I expected more fruit. Great with my burger tonight!

Anniversary wine! Very nice now. Still plenty of tannins left so no rush.

In a good place. Tannins are beginning to resolve & the aromatics and palate are balanced and delineated showing well ripened red fruit & strong floral notes on the nose. This shows power, but certainly in a restrained sense. Bits of secondary/umami character are starting to show. Nicely done.

I'm writing the review only after 5 min and it really needs some time. But good acidity with a earthy minerally finish.
