The Orphan Barrel series can be divisive but this is truly outstanding. Sour corn mash and yeast on the nose, very smooth and inviting likely owing to the lower proof. Creamy vanilla, a fruity component--possibly orange marmalade or sweet apricot. This is not a balls to the wall bourbon but a perfect Friday night quaff. Enjoy it on ice on the deck rather than fireside at midnight.
