Candied figs, caramel & spices with a very pleasant finish! I've had a few bottles of this and on my latest bottle (NV in 2017) I was not thrilled when I first opened it, as it tasted a bit raw. After mellowing in the Fridge for a couple of weeks (re-corked of course) I find it to be much smoother and more enjoyable and a bit more full bodied than a comparable Graham's 20 YO port. Not the "correct" way to drink this, but I like it better. E.g., it could probably benefit from several hours of decanting before drinking after first opening it.

A very tasty Porto. Dates and figs on the nose, and an explosion of dates and vanilla on the palate, with a lasting, pleasant finish of crushed macadamia nuts and brown sugar.

Its aroma is intense and complex, with notes of cinnamon, ginger, cedar, and plum. Tawny hue with orange-like hints. In the mouth, its fine structure and the balance between sugars and tannins stand out. The finish is delicate and lingering, with good harmony of flavors.
