In Denver tonight on our way to A wedding in Nebraska. With Napa and Sonoma in our thoughts and prayers we decided to go to an iconic Napa Cabernet. This wine is elegant in its silkiness and finesse. Lots of dark fruit on the nose. Fantastic tastes of blueberries, stewed plums and licorice. Incredibly balanced with sleek tannins, beautiful fruit and perfect acidity. No wonder why this was Wine Spectator’s wine of the year last year. Say your prayers that the disaster in wine country comes to a quick end.

Wonderful and wonderful! I’ve been a Lewis Cellars fan for many years. So glad to see them get the well-deserved accolades today. Their Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is so silky smooth and luscious that it’s hard to share. Dark, very full bodied and balanced tanins. Amazing to the last drop
