Batch 3, Bottle 1181. One cube. Copper hues, cedar and spice aromas give way to corn syrup, maple stick and burnt cinnamon flavors. Medium length, smooth long finish with minimal bite. Performed far beyond expectations. I didn't sense any taste contribution from the fact that this was finished for 9 months in Groth Cab reserve oak barrels. Still, a damn good bourbon.

Batch No.246, bottle No.0031 of 2400. Finished in Groth Cab barrels. Beautiful amber color in the glass w/pink hues. Powerful and rich, with some of the wine notes showing on the finish. This works well.

Color of very concentrate honey. Powerful nose of aldehyde, nice oak, sweet apple, sweet vanilla note, and hot alcohol in the nasal cavity. Very pleasant. Taste wise is also a beauty. Dense burnt creme purée, dense caramel note, ripe pineapples and apples, dried fruits, a touch of mint, and then oak note surfaces. Aftertaste is long with some more tea and zesty bite. She is concentrated yet smooth, powerful yet velvety. The power of 90 proof only shows up much later. Well done. Batch 7, bottle 7046.

Batch 7 - Bottle 9899 Had it Neat: Caramel corn and toffee.... Blackberry/Blueberry with red wine and cinnamon. A tart baked apple finish.
