Tasted many times with my wifey. At $24 it’s a great value. Rich, fleshy nose and palate. Notes of lemon curd and apricot. The oak is quite prominent and somewhat wins the battle over the acid. This open-knit presentation finishes soft and round. Hartford do some higher-end chards which are great, but at nearly 3x of this, why go there...

Vinous nailed this in terms of description and rating. At $25, this is a low rent proposition. For their entry-level chard, this is very impressive. The shorthand that defines this wine is burgundy. This has become our house white.

HFW was founded in 1993 by Don and Jennifer Hartford in the Russian River Valley. Deep Ruby with aromas of red berry fruit, tea and herb spice notes. On the palate an array or berry flavors with herb and smoky cedar notes and light elegant spice. Fine tannins with an earthy grit, savory, lingering ending with earthy notes. Very nice!

Oak heavy California Chardonnay, low acid, lots of butter, caramel, coconut, lemon, pear, pineapple. A touch heavy on the alcohol.

This is really good! It takes just a few minutes to open up and share it's delights!! Great tropical fruit ..oak but not overpowering..minerals to create a sensational balance! ALC 14.5%...but you sure do not notice it! I will keep this on hand! Thank you @Ron R for the recommendation!!
