Inky dark in the glass. The first sip is a whopping mouthful of fruit. Loads of cassis, black fruits, bing cherry, and red berries. Tannin structure is superb. I'm going to enjoy this all night.

Maybe a little early... needed decant and light aeration. Good in the end.

Just a bomb of a Cab. Uber complex with loads of blackberry and blueberry. You can't ignore the beautiful floral finish. The bottle age really helped this finish out the tannins. Glorious.

A former WS Top 100, this has a beautiful deep burgundy color. Decanted for two and half hours and drank over the next two. A wonderful toasted oak and red fruit on the nose. On the palate I get more of those red fruits with cherry being the highlight. Definitely a little cola in there with some mineral hints but not an overwhelming amount. Smooth, medium tannins that are well integrated. I think it is just now entering into its drinking window and some more time will only serve to improve what is already a fine wine.

A rich, dense Napa Cabernet. A great wine.

Great layering and loads of blackberry, currants, earth and graphite. Another nice finish with plenty of smoky, toasty oak.

Deep, dark, and brooding. Black cherry and cola and pipe tobacco with loads of black pepper and cardamom spice. Inky texture. Long finish with well rounded tannins and a chocolate note that won't quit. Drink now over the next 10 years.
