What a delicious Shiraz from Barossa Valley this is. Full bodied with medium acidity. Very dry on the palate and fruit forward. Showing black fruits with cedar, vanilla, leather, earth, chocolates, tobacco, Indian spices, peppercorn, coffee, cola and licorice. This 9 year old is drinking beautifully now. Rich and extracted. Tangy and interesting. Showing Nice complexity and mouthfeel. I had the 2006 years ago, and it is very consistent. Good right out of the bottle and better with airtime. Robert Parker 96 points. Aged in new French oak barrels for 14 months. Unfiltered and delectable 15.5% alcohol by volume. 93 points. $75.

Second red wine at Table #4 at Oakton Wine Shops Bucket List Tasting. Deep and dark ruby red. Thick and dark nose with tobacco and black cherries. Silky yet heavy tannins (7/10) and full bodied. Rich palate with tons of black fruits, anise, dark cocoa, earthy and gravel. Long and lingering finish. Drink till 2030. (93+)

Very young, some iron, dark blue fruits, a bit oak forward at this stage.

This was quite good. A prototypical Shiraz with nice concentration. Great, lasting finish. However, I think it’s a bit overpriced for what it offers.

G'day mate! It's been too long.....OK, only 2 weeks, but long enough. Still a firm favourite!

Raisin flavor. Deep and juicy taste with violet and various herb flavor which is making me feel spicy. Very complex, maybe due to coming from 100 years tree. According to a specialist, it has long aging capability, so around 2000 is much better. @10000, maru, 170803

The 2007 was holy ...! good after about 2 hours. Give it time and it fills a riedel XL with only a splash in the glass. Awesome wine
