Emile Beyer Lieu Dit Hohrain Alsace AOC Pinot Gris 2014

Rich golden in colour yet vinified to bone dry. Spicy apples, Mirabelle plums and a bit of pear. On the palate tightly wound around the core of juicy acidity with great depth & purity of fruit and ending with a mineral finish and a dash of salinity. This is quite unusual for a PG from Alsace but truly delicious. Worked magic with a pan-fried skate in brown butter. #sundaytreat
