Golden color. Waxy, heavy and viscous. Honey, apricot, quince, vanilla and furniture cleaner on the nose. I never know if I like Rhône whites. On one hand it is complex and nicely developed and on the other hand it’s oxidized and flabby. Such a big wine it really needs food. Amazingly well made and great texture but again not sure I love it

Ok, this is really good, but really subtle. So a bottle of this or a case of Tranche Cellars 2010 Slice of Pape. I'll take the case... Way more enjoyment albeit at the expense of nuance. Maybe I drank this 20 years too early, but I'm here now...
