Darioush Signature Napa Valley Chardonnay 2014

This Chardonnay was wild. Never had a chard like this. Such heavy viscosity to it! Since it was tasted blind, someone even asked if it could possibly be a dessert wine. My first and final thought was a Roussanne. So much honey, Meyer lemon, apricot and pineapple. Full bodied and large Chardonnay.

Amazing. Quite smooth. Not a ton of fruit or oak but complex. Great balance. $45

Very nice from start to finish. Good balance between fruit and mineral. Bold Napa Chardonnay very well crafted. Would probably benefit from a few more years in the cellar...

Not bad for a whitey. Smooth but not piercing. Light acidity
