The nose brings me right back to the patio on their beautiful estate. The aroma is full of jammy cassis, blackberries, fresh cut cedar, and a hint of pepper. Full bodied palate and gorgeous tannins suggest this wine could age another couple decades. The palate gives you everything and more that you are looking for in a Napa Cab. This one shows a darkness and depth that makes it unique.

This will need a few years to become greater than the sum of its parts. Probably some of the best SLD fruit for last several years.

Needs some air, but opened up beautifully, smooth, lots of fruit up front, cherries, raspberries, tobacco, some spice and tannins, great wine that will age beautifully.
