It's Friday, it is warm outside and it is time for a refreshing rose. 2014 Chateau Haut Sarthes Bergerac Rose. 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc. The first Bordeaux Blend in Rose that I have seen. I purchased it for a whopping $8.99 and I am here to say well worth it. The QPR on this is through the roof. The nose is a wonderful red currant, cherry, a mint note and a nice minerality like a slate. On the palate there is cherry, red raspberry, a spice note with a creamy texture. A very clean, crisp, long finish with a medium+ acidity. Very Nice for $8.99. Serve chilled.
