Blackcurrant, green bell pepper, hints of cedar, super soft and pretty. Maybe fading slightly in texture but flavor profile is beautiful. Having with veal chops.

Medium garnet , quite wide garnet terracotta rim . Quite mature and with mint , herbal cassis , touch of brown sugar, coffee , sous bois. On the palate this is medium bodied , sous bois , some red fruits , red plum , cassis . Quite spicy but still good volume and roundness on the palate also. Decent acidity , and some herbal touches on the good length finish . This is drinking well and will probably not improve . Now and over the next 5-10 years .

Pretty closed nose , a little bit funky, touch of sous bois . On the palate better , with touches of sous bois , cassis, good roundness , then a bit foursquare and dry on the finish, ok acidity , slightly bitter tannins . Not the best bottle of this . From past experience benefits from time in the glass , at peak , drink from now over the next 5-8 years .

Pretty healthy ruby /garnet core and a medium wide garnet rim . On the nose straight from the bottle shows well . Spicy blackcurrant, red plum, cranberry , cedar , touch of iodine and iron filings . Good roundness in the mouth, touch of red plum , blackberry, redcurrant, really good fruit still , slightly cedar, tobacco tinged finish . Nicely rounded ripe tannins , balanced acidity , good length . Drinking at peak at the moment , but can still go on quite a while I would imagine, another 5-10 years perhaps on the basis of this bottle .

Medium garnet , garnet rim . Quite herbal , dark cassis fruits , slightly unclean but the funk seems to blow off . Some dark fruits , lighter bodied . Fills out on the palate though slightly drying on the finish. Nice acidity , tannin quite resolved . Slightly rustic but good length and enjoyable . Tasted blind on 17/08/2022
