Nice blend with some meat/pepper/leather in addition to the more Cabernet fruit profile. Drinking nicely now.

Interesting. A brief nose of Cabernet before some black pepper, saline, and cedar comes to the front. Palate follows through on those features. Balanced finish with medium tannins. Guesses included old world and new world and multiple varieties.

My pallet may be fried but it had the faintest dollop of the Cayuse funk that came out over time. Fruit forward blend.

80 Cab/20 Merlot. Terrific complexity. Nose of peppered brisket, ash, and a little wildflower. Silky palate with cranberry, strawberries, ink, and blueberries evolving in that order. Tannins 99% resolved. Smooth talker.
