Winner winner chicken dinner! Decant for sediment (decent fine/cloudy sediment). A phenomenal dark garnet color with some bricking. On the nose: Very aromatic notes of sweet aged cab perfume, little stewed red fruit, barnyard funk, earth, espresso. Taste: smooth, soft, creamy, silky mouth coating wine with a little red currant, bitter chocolate, meat, earth, prunes, crushed stone and a medium finish. Sure, its a ways on the downside, but still drinks fine, especially if you like those secondary flavors. Drink em up.
