My favorite every day drinker. Can't beat the price either!

A very respectable wine especially considering the price. Somewhat sweet but at the same time had a slight bit of dryness in the back. Berry flavors. Had with steak & goat cheese arugula salad and paired very well. Good one to have in stock.

I like it. Jay not so much. He didn't hate it but didn't love it.

Sickly sweet, made the mistake of pairing with food. Actually unpleasant. I could see it being nicer under the cover of night with a cigar and dark chocolate and the smoke of a fire and loud friends?

ON THE NOSE: cinnamon cherry and dark chocolate. ON THE PALATE: cherry, dark chocolate and cola. Medium body and short finish. A slight sweetness and bite.

It's very dark in the glass, black almost. A purple ring around the edge is the only thing differentiating the color from, say, motor oil. The nose is amazing, if a bit on the oaky side. Fire, smoke, burning things - all these traits come across with the fervor of a four-alarm blaze. Those grapes are there - Zinfandel, Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon - but it's like “Where’s Waldo” to find them. Sweet oak is what you taste. And put the emphasis on sweet. This is one of those wines made exclusively for millennials who just got rid of the training wheels last week, so pardon me if I don't seem too enthusiastic. The oak isn't supposed to be the whole show.

Dark ruby in color with a dark purplish rim. Fruity on the nose with blackberries, blueberries, cherries, licorice, figs, oak, vanilla, cloves, earth, chocolates, tobacco, peppercorn and espresso. Full bodied with medium acidity, and jammy with long legs. Dry and extremely fruity on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, blueberry pie, oak, vanilla, licorice, cloves, coffee, chocolates, tobacco bitter vegetables and peppercorn. Medium plus on the finish with soft tannins and spices. A good everyday sipper. Good by itself or with food. Simple, but very pleasurable. Good right out of the bottle, but evolved some in the glass. Good party wine. A Californian blend of Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Merlot. 13.5% alcohol by volume.

Very tannic and viney. Dark fruits with subtle sweetness. I'm getting raisin, aged plums, hints of licorice and blackberry along with planet of spice. This wine could definitely use some aeration and aging to soften its boldness and develop a little more fruit.
