70% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 5% Carignan, 5% Counoise, organically raised and aged in older large oak cask; bottled unfined and unfiltered, with minimal added sulfites. This very-old-vine Grenache blend is simply stupendous in 2022 – such glossy, ripe fruit, such intensity and freshness, such pleasure and spice with each and every sip. The team at Caillou has really outdone themselves this vintage, and we couldn’t be prouder with this great bottle, a blend we’ve been doing for now for decades! And still, it’s the best value in great Côtes du Rhône on the market.
