‘Clos Baulet’ sits in the heart of Morey-Saint-Denis, winemaker Frédéric Magnien’s home town. Soils here are deep and rich, with some stones. Red cherries, pomegranate jam, white peaches. Wonderfully complex. Hand-harvested. Partially destemmed; fermented in temperature-controlled, stainless steel tanks on indigenous yeasts. Aged in older French oak barrels. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.
