See previous notes from April 2024. To be critical a little too much oak influence for my palate. The palate is rich and enjoyable overall. To state the obvious the Napa Valley does wonderful Cabernet Sauvignon. A surprisingly short drinking window given by James Molesworth thru to 2027.

Primary red fruit aromas. Just medium weight with oak nuances on the palate. I can’t think of an Australian Cabernet that is as light as this and I’m really enjoying it. Molesworth said this was good if you like herbaceous wines (which I do). After a lifetime of Margaret River Cabernets, I can’t see herbal nuances in the Forman.

Deep Ruby red with aromas of ripe berry fruits, spice and floral notes. On the palate flavors of black cherry, currants and smoky oak with earthy floral and black pepper notes. Fine soft tannins, long finish ending with fruit, toasty oak and floral mineral character. Needs to age a bit more but nice now! Tasting Sample!

2019 vintage. Medium body. Plenty of frontal palate richness. Middle currently MIA. Finish is loamy and plush with some espresso bean. Wanted a bit more dark plum structure but wasn’t forthcoming. Maybe in a few. 01.29.25.

An amazing Cabernet. Balanced with dried purple fruit and with hint of bell pepper. Wow! Paired with hangar steak and roasted potatoes.

2017 vintage. Continuing to be well balanced between the feminine and masculine, the valley floor and the mountain slope. No surprise, given the winery/vineyard location. A fave Napa Cab producer. Drinking beautifully now but definite rewards/dividends to be had if you can hold off on opening for another 10-25 years. Good luck on holding off. 5.18.23.

Exquisite in every way. Decanted and it’s luxurious velvety feel paves the way got dark red fruit and slight pepper. Yet all balanced.
