1er Cru ‘Clos des Champs Fulliot’ is essentially an extension of Volnay ‘Clos des Chênes,’ and these vines hail from an “ancestral” plot, per winemaker Charles Boigelot, within a lieu-dit surrounded by a stone wall, located in the larger ‘Champs Fuillot’ vineyard. A Pinot Noir of refined red berry character with savory spice and smooth tannins.
