This selection of “younger” vines (on average, 40 years old — in contrast to the “vieilles vignes” selection, which averages a century per vine) delivers all the depth and concentration of Vincent’s older-vine wine with an added energy and verve on the palate. Still a “baby” Montrachet, anyway you slice it. Exceptional.
