A selection from Gevrey vineyards ‘Les Etelois,’ which borders both grand cru Chapelle-Chambertin and premier cru ‘Petite Chapelle,’ and ‘Les Crais,’ east of the main road on the Brochon side of the village. ‘Etelois’ was planted in 1964/1965; ‘Crais’ in two parts, one in 1979/1980 and the other in 1990/1991. Hand-harvested. Partially destemmed (70%); fermented on indigenous yeasts in steel tank. Aged for 16 months in 228L tonneaux (20% new). Unfined and unfiltered.
