A single-vineyard selection from ‘Les Maladières,’ located in greater Nuits-Saint-Georges, east of the main road, not far from villages-level vineyard Nuits ‘Les Maladières.’ At 660 to 690 feet above sea level, facing east; soils are rocky, rich in limestone-clay and marl. Hand-harvested. Partially destemmed (70%); fermented on indigenous yeasts in steel tank. Aged for 14 months in 228L tonneaux (20% new). Unfined and unfiltered.
