Vines in lieu-dit ‘Préau,’ in Brochon, were planted in the 1950s and 1960s. This is a succulent, deeply flavored Gevrey in everything but name; and certainly one of our favorites on value. Aromas of black and red summer berries, licorice, light earth and baking spices. Smooth, with medium tannins; flavors of red berries, juicy plum.
