From the winery: Biodynamically farmed Bassi Vineyard is in the new SLO Coast AVA, just a mile from the reefs I grew up surfing as a grom. Seductive, layered, violet colored gobs of coastal Pinot Noir. Avila Valley sagebrush, blood orange, roses, and cola. This single vineyard release is only the free run (no pressings), and mostly clone 115 from the high sandstone hill which was wild fermented in a concrete fermenter.
