Wein-Erbhof Stein Palmberg trocken Riesling 2020

Ulli Stein has long been respected as one of the most dynamic winemakers in Germany, known for his irreverent fusion of the traditions of the Mosel with his own innate independent streak. This wine comes from one of Ulli's Grand cru sites in Palmberg with 90+ year-old vines (Alte Reben) planted on their own roots on slope perched above the river. We have become desperate fans of Steins Palmberg renditions over the past few vintages and are especially excited for the 2020 Kabinett trocken bottling; expect a laser focused Riesling on a lighter and leaner frame than the spatlese we have carried over the past few vintages.
