A collaboration from longtime friends Daniel Landi (from B. Jiminez-Landi) and Fernando Garcia. Garcia andamp; Landi are one of the next generation of Spanish winemakers finding pockets of vineyards in rugged high altitude territory to make wine.andnbsp;This wine comes fromandnbsp;50-60 yr. old organically farmed Grenache vines grown on granite soil from Vinos de Madrid, an appellation within the Sierra de Gredos Mountain range. They are trying to redefine what Grenache can be in terms of elegance and finesse -andnbsp;hence the Burgundian inspired name. Weand#39;d suggest a decant if you want to see this in all its glory when itand#39;s young.andnbsp;Break out the Pata Negra!
