Those hunting for legitimate Burgundy at a fair price will find much to like here. The 40-year-old vines that make this wine are all from a hillside vineyard - Les Murgers - that is on a slab of limestone. The fruit is hand harvested and hand sorted before the native yeast fermentation starts in tank and finishes in barrel. The wine spends 12 months in oak (15% new). A subtle expression of Pinot Noir with fragrant aromatics and silky tannins.
