Uncorked and audozed for 2 hours. 90 minute decant. Engaging nose of expresso and cacao powder. Young but wiling. Warm velvety entry, dark cherry, mocha, sage. Balance. Smooth on smooth. Scarecrow is in a Napa class that only Schrader can challenge right now. Just seamless, structurally sound beauty.

Unfortunately it lived up to the hype. But not the price. Wickedly soft and pure, rich but not too bold, tons of rocks and the nose has a semi sweet caramel toffee tone on the way way back. Good stuff. Solid wine. Over priced, but it's what I expected. Good but not life changing.
