Administratively in Meursault but always referred to as Volnay when planted to Pinot Noir.andnbsp;More clay in the soil than is typical than the rest of Volnay which subsequently results in richer textures. Tasted in the fall the 2017 Volnay Santenots was vibrantly floral with lush red fruit and roses and extremely silky texture.
