Fass 6, nicknamed Senior, is Florian Lauerand#39;s homage to the wines that were a favorite of his grandfather.andnbsp;Typically referred to as dry tasting wines, theyandnbsp;sportandnbsp;a hint of sweetness that when balanced against the bright acidity on the palate allows the wine to finish dry without any cloying mouthfeel at any point.andnbsp; Perhaps fittingly, Senior is always sourced from 70-year-old ungrafted vines in grand cru vineyards, likely by his grandfather. The 2019 vintage is a classic example of the category showing tart orchard fruit and delicate floral tones against a palate dominated by minerality notes of wet stone and a hint of salt. If you hunt for it, there is just a touch of sweetness that is extremely well tamed by crunchy acidity.andnbsp; Stellar wine that will suit spicy foods extremely well and should continue to evolve in the cellar nicely.andnbsp; Off dry.

Wow, this is delicious. Beautiful canary yellow color and The flavor is like a dry gala apple and pear juice, with subtle flavors of vanilla, its dry but tastes like it should be sweet. It's an apple and light fruit bomb with a crisp nose and is probably one of the best Riesling I've ever had.
