I have been sitting on this awhile so I was looking forward to trying this style. Not yet enjoyed this wine before. I liked it but didn’t love it. Peppery and with clear but mellow meat notes. It was solid and I suspect would have been better with a more appropriate food pairing (I had a homemade turkey burger with it). Will look forward to the next time.

Nose has a bit of heat. Palate is a bit green. Not exactly dense. A bit bitter Drinkable. Meh.

Outstanding! Dark black and red fruits, spice, iodine nose. Mouthfeel is delicious.

An absolute masterpiece! It has a very spicy nose with a note of jalapeño. It has a massive and complex flavor with pepper, leather, and blackberries. It will only get better with time.
