90% Sangiovese, 7% Canaioloandnbsp;andamp;andnbsp;3% Colorino from 40+ year old vines, the oldest at the property. This is slow to reveal itself at present but shows beautifully with some extended air time in large glasses or in a decanter. Once it gets going, itand#39;s a wine that you almost donand#39;t need to drink to enjoy because of how kaleidoscopic the aromatics are. This is a more delicate vintage for Campitello,andnbsp;but what it lacks in force it makes up for with complexity. Itand#39;s painfully pretty and seamlessly constructed - anandnbsp;irresistibleandnbsp;wine that is sure to turn heads for a decade or more. It grabs ahold of you at first sip and doesnand#39;t let go. andnbsp;

Wow. Just a great Chianti. Acidic start and perfect astringent finish. Sour cherry and earth. A great buy.
