The new kid on the block. Wow. What a nose. Stunning. Sick. The whole cluster and no new wood shows. Smells like classic stuff. Blackberry, cassis, smoke, leather, blueberry, big berry, lavender, so so floral, really really pungent and detailed. Mint, brown sugar and shows ripeness but also insane complexity. Palate is at once round and exhibits huge finesse but also shows super ripe fruit and stunning purity. Superb refinement and precision. This is so beautiful. Such fine tannins. This has the extra that makes it a top Cornas.

Bright purple. Lively blueberry, cherry, licorice, olive paste and smoked meat scents are sharpened by a subtle mineral quality. Smooth and energetic on the palate, offering intense dark berry, salty olive and floral pastille flavors that show very good depth and building spiciness. Nose is cherry fruit with a hint of candy like a young port. Almost a whiff of raisin. Palate is fresh cherries with dried cranberries. Nice spice. A pleasant kiss of bitterness. Very fresh.
