Pretty classic Jura white. Great depth on nose and palate. Not blown away but happy to drink any time

I came around on this wine. The issue is approach. I was expecting it to be a Burgundian expression of Chardonnay, but this is definitely more akin to a natural or orange wine (displays both Brett and VA.) Treat it as if it were red; decant it and let it warm to about room temp. Drink it with strong, funky cheese. Close your eyes when you smell it; the aroma is almost like Barbera or a comparable acidic, funky Italian red. This wine is good, but you 100% have to be ready for wine that is not at all like typical French Chardonnay.

bouquet of wax, wool, crystalized pineapple, intense minerality... palate brings your normal stoney buttery chives, but with more minerality and some waxiness. rich but fresh. very nice.
