Marguet Père et Fils La Grande Ruelle Ambonnay Pinot Noir 2015

Benoit Marguet is one of the most energetic characters in Champagne completely dedicated to biodynamic farming choice parcels in Ambonnay from which he crafts superb champagnes. La Grande Ruelle is a single vineyard that lies just to the south of Le Parc surrounding the village of Ambonnay. Here there is more clay topsoil, so Pinot Noir is the candeacute;page of choice. The first vintage of Grande Ruelle was released from the 2011 vintage and Benoit made a Blanc de Noirs from La Grande Ruelle in 2015 as well. A stunning example of Grand Cru Ambonnay Pinot Noir andndash; particularly vinous and so fine that it feels like Chardonnay. Bottled with zero dosage.
