Bergeron is the local name for Roussanne and the only grape permitted in Chignon-Bergeron cru of Savoie. One of the first plot of Magnin's vines to be farmed biodynamically, 'Verticale' refers to the vines' roots that are perpendicular to the slope and the limestone slab just below the soil. Savory goodness abounds, with great tension to hold it all in place. A bonus to see wines at this price with good bottle age.

Wonderfully creamy roussanne - orange blossom, waxy texture, lemon and spicy notes with a burst of acidity on the finish. Delectable
