Colour is mid crimson - almost transparent. First impressions after 20 minutes in the decanter - an intense red fruited perfume. A barely medium weight palate with those same strawberry and raspberry notes together with earthy/forest floor. Medium plus intensity. A good if not great Premier Cru. Jancis made the comment “What a Vineyard “ admittedly in relation to Rousseau’s version of CSJ.

Initially nice with red fruits, opening up with more forest floor after about 15 mins. 30 mins later, the heat of the vintage comes out. So, really enjoyable, but only for a pretty narrow window of time.

Good, but ... would not have guessed this was from a top 1er, more like a decent village. Surprisingly light, but not in an interesting way

Really ripe and fruit forward. Would have thought this was a Cali Pinot at this point. Compared to 2010 this lacked tension and soil elements. Will revisit other bottles in a few years
